Morning Development Workshops
THE ART OF DELEGATION - 10:00
No leader/Pastor can make it on their own. That’s not a putdown – its reality. The bigger your vision and goals, the more help you’re going to need in reaching them. Leadership ability determines effectiveness, and delegation equals success. In this session you will receive tools, and information on why you need to delegate, who to delegate to and the accomplishment of delegation.
“If you really want to grow, you’ve got to learn to delegate”.
EFFECTIVE MARKETING OF YOUR CHURCH MINISTRY - 11:00
A church can only survive if it has members. We are charged to “GO YE” into all the world and spread the Gospel, and that requires effort. The concept of marketing a church can be uncomfortable for some, but we must understand that the only thing that never changes is “GOD’S WORD”, but methods will and must change in some instances.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE IDEAL CHURCH MEMBER - 12.00
“And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved”. God added to the Jerusalem church those who were being saved “members of the body of Christ, the church”. In this workshop you will learn and know what a biblical church member should look like or should be “a disciple” is synonymous with an “ideal church member”, or at least, should be. This workshop will hopefully give you some important insight into an ideal member
THE ANOINTING AND MINISTRY - 13:00
Did you know that when God calls us into ministry, He anoints us for that office? This anointing is to empower us to do the will of God. There is nothing we can do in our own strength. In this workshop you will be equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the anointing, what it is and how it works.

MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE CHURCH - 10:00
Social Media might be the first-place people hear about your ministry. Over 46 percent of church planters say that social media is their most effective method of outreach. With a thoughtful church strategy for social engagement and some regular advertising, you can create awareness of your church/ministry and attract new people to your website where they can learn more.
Jesus said “For the children (people) of this age (world) are in their generation wiser than the children of light (believers). Luke 16:8b
TOOLS TO ENHANCE THE MUSIC WORSHIP EXPERIENCE - 11:00
“Sing to him, sing praise to Him, tell of all His wonderful acts – Psalm 105:2
Music is more than background noise. Music matters to God. He created it. Whenever the famous composer Bach set out to write a new piece of music, he would bow his head and pray: “Jesus, help me show your glory through the music I write, may it bring you joy even as it brings joy to your people”. This is even more reason why the church needs to bring glory to God in our worship. This workshop will help you and help us understand why music is so important to God.
SAFEGUARDING FOR CHURCHES - 12:00
Churches and faith-based groups play a vital role in the lives of many children, young people and adults. Churches and places of worship have a role to play in keeping people safe. This workshop is about support and training to help churches keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and improve how we respond to safeguarding concerns and in keeping Pastors/Ministers and churches in line with government procedures.
Every Pastor needs to hear this, enabling them to place the necessary safety procedures in place now!
WHY PASTORS AND CHURCHES NEED VISION - 13:00
“Vision without execution is delusion”. Where there is no vision the people perish, but where there is vision the people flourish. A church without a vision never grows and a church’s vision will never be larger than the vision of the Pastor. So, as a leader and a Pastor you must have God’s vision for your church.
In this workshop you will be given the tools to dream, to strategize and to lead your church to succeed in its mission and remember “people buy into the leader before they buy into the vision”.
